George Strait And Willie Nelson Finally Team Up For “Good Hearted Woman!” Talk about magnificent pairings, two country icons, George Strait and Willie Nelson, shared the stage at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, for a duet of “Good Hearted Woman” on January 12, 2019. Joined by household names in country music, including Alison Krauss, Vince Hill, Emmylou Harris, Sheryl Crow, Kris Kristofferson, John Mellencamp, and other luminary figures, the pair appeared on the tribute show titled Willie: Life & Songs of An American Outlaw to celebrate Shotgun Willie’s greatest hits. This was the first time they performed together despite being both acquainted with country music fame for decades and now we are finally getting to see it. The song was originally co-written by Nelson, became a hit when recorded as a duet with Waylon Jennings. The two legends shared the stage for the first time, captivating the audience with their performance and camaraderie.
