Some of music's biggest stars are uniting in Nashville for a good cause: Stand Up To Cancer's (SU2C) ninth fundraising special.
This year's lineup includes performances from Jelly Roll, Jonas Brothers, CeCe Winans, and Dan + Shay, and marks the first time the event will be broadcast from Nashville, highlighting the city's musical heritage while raising crucial funds for cancer research.
The one-hour commercial-free telecast will be broadcast on iHeartRadio Country stations across the country, as well as on the free iHeartRadio app via the iHeartCountry station, New Country station, and iHeartCountry Favorites station. The special will also air simultaneously on over 30 media platforms across the United States, with all four major U.S. networks donating prime time slots. Viewers can also watch on-demand across multiple digital and streaming platforms.
The event, hosted by Grammy Award-winning artist Sheryl Crow, will also include performances by Noah Cyrus, Gavin DeGraw, Marcus King, Brothers Osborne, and Jon Pardi, among others. Crow will also perform and deliver remarks alongside SU2C co-founder Katie Couric.
In addition to live performances, the special will feature pre-taped segments with celebrities like Kevin Bacon, Jamie Foxx, Tim McGraw, Zoe Saldaña, Keith Urban, and Reese Witherspoon. The telecast aims to share powerful stories from cancer survivors and showcase breakthroughs in early detection and treatment, emphasizing the potential of AI in accelerating progress in cancer research.
According to Stand Up To Cancer, the event is part of the #Up2Us to #StandUpToCancer campaign, which runs through August 31. This initiative brings together creators from platforms like Twitch, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube to support cancer research through diverse livestream content. Notable creators include Tess Bohne, Neebs Gaming, and Trisha Hershberger.
The show will take place at The Pinnacle and is co-produced by Stand Up To Cancer and Done + Dusted. SU2C has united over 3,100 top researchers from more than 210 leading institutions across 16 countries, contributing to saving tens of thousands of lives worldwide.
