The Band Perry teamed up with another family trio to perform one of their most iconic singles during a pop-up show on Monday evening (July 21) in Nashville, Tennessee.

The “If I Die Young” artists delivered a rendition of the emotional 2010 ballad during the Whiskey Jam show at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row in downtown Nashville. The Band Perry brought sister trio The Castellows to the stage “for an epic family-band singalong,” per Whiskey Jam’s caption on Instagram on Tuesday (July 22). “The song is currently 9x platinum, and could very well become the first diamond-certified country song written by a single writer (Kimberly Perry). The happy hour show was a mix of massive hits from their catalog, in addition to several new songs from their upcoming chapter in country music.” The Band Perry also shared a recap of the tiros “unforgettable night” with The Castellows, Brittney Spencer and The Jack Wharff Band.

Siblings Kimberly, Reid Perry and Neil Perry launched The Band Perry in 2010. Fifteen years later, the band is reuniting with Kimberly, Reid and Kimberly’s husband, Johnny Costello. The Band Perry confirmed the trio’s return last month.

“After stepping away to take a break and evolve, we’re feeling more grounded, more fired-up, and more connected to our roots than ever,” the band said in a statement in early June. “Country music has always been home for us—and we feel so grateful to still have a seat at the table. We’re bringing everything we’ve lived, everything we’ve learned, and a whole new energy into this next season. We can’t wait to share what’s coming.”
