President-elect Donald Trump went viral after doing his signature 'Y.M.C.A.' dance alongside his wife, Melania, during a New Year's Eve celebration at his Mar-a-Lago Club estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., shared a video of his father dancing with the caption, "It's fun to stay at the YMCA!!! Happy new year all!"
An alternate angle from a post shared on X showed billionaire Elon Musk dancing next to Trump.
In November, Trump's granddaughter Kai shared a video of herself doing her grandfather's dance onboard his private jet. Kai, 17, shared the clip of herself and her friend on her TikTok account Sunday (November 24), which was accompanied by The Village People's song commonly played at her grandfather's rallies.
“Learned these moves from the best,” she wrote in the post's caption.
The teenager mimicked her grandfather's golf swing and thumb's up gestures in the video. The elder Trump commonly danced to 'Y.M.C.A.' during his successful campaign leading up to the 2024 presidential election and his moves have recently been mimicked by several notable athletes during celebrations.
Trump, who had previously served as the 45th president, is scheduled to be inaugurated on January 20 after defeating Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.
